This program can help you receive certain GSK prescription medicines at no cost.

You might be eligible for this program if:

  • You are uninsured
  • You have Medicare and meet other program requirements
  • Live in the United States or Puerto Rico (or the US Virgin Islands for certain medicines)
  • Meet financial income eligibility criteria

Attention Medicare patients enrolled in the GSK Patient Assistance Program

Eligibility for the GSK Patient Assistance Program (PAP) for Medicare patients is based on a calendar year like Medicare. Therefore, your enrollment in GSK Patient Assistance Program will expire on December 31, 2024. You will not be able to use GSK PAP to obtain your medication until you qualify for the program and re-enroll in the new year.

As the US healthcare landscape evolves, GSK continuously evaluates our programs. The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 has introduced programs to improve benefits and lower drug costs. Significant changes are being implemented on January 1, 2025. Highlights of these changes to Medicare Part D and the GSK Patient Assistance Program for 2025 are outlined below.

If you are currently insured through a Medicare Part D Plan or are eligible to enroll in Medicare Part D plan, it is important to understand the following:

  • Changes to Medicare Part D in 2025 may help you manage your out-of-pocket (OOP) costs for a Part D drug. In 2025, your out-of-pocket cost will be capped at $2000 for the year. All medications processed through your Medicare Part D benefit will count toward your OOP maximum of $2000.
  • You will not have any additional Part D medication costs once you reach this $2000 OOP when filling your prescriptions.
  • You will continue to be responsible for your monthly Part D premium.
  • There is an option to spread these costs over the year by enrolling in the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (MPPP). There is no charge for this program, and you are not required to join this program.
  • Enrollment for participation in the MPPP begins as early as October 15, 2024.
  • For more information on the MPPP and whether it is beneficial for you to enroll, contact your health plan.
  • You can also visit www.Medicare.gov and/or www.medicare.gov/publications/12211-whats-the-medicare-prescription-payment-plan.pdf

If you have enrolled in the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan, you will need to work with your healthcare provider’s office, insurance company, and/or your specialty pharmacy to understand your insurer-required co-payment and out-of-pocket costs in 2025.

GSK Patient Assistance Program Changes in 2025:

Enrollment in the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (MPPP) will allow you to spread the cost of the medication over the remainder of 2025. This may make the medication more affordable for you to use your Medicare Part D plan. You may no longer need to enroll in the GSK Patient Assistance Program.

If you still need assistance from the PAP, be aware of the following Program changes in 2025:

  • Annual adjusted gross household income threshold will move from no greater than 500% of the Federal Poverty Level to no greater than 400% of the Federal Poverty Level.
  • If you have access to any formulation of a GSK product at no cost through either your medical benefit (Medicare Part B-Supplement), Medicare Advantage or pharmacy benefit (Part D), you will no longer be eligible for the GSK Patient Assistance Program in 2025.

*The GSK Patient Assistance Program is operated by the GSK Patient Access Programs Foundation, an independent, non-profit organization separate from GSK.
